Here's an interactive map of the show floor where you can zoom in and find the Kirby Museum just to the right of the area marked as "Construction Zone" -- though personally I like to think of it as the "Wild Area" -- and all the other myriad attractions the exhibitor floor has to offer.
I expect to be at the Kirby Museum table for virtually all of the convention except for meals and bathroom breaks. If I even get those. That's pretty much how it worked out last year, and this year it's bound to be even more crowded. If you're there, it'd be awesome if you stop by and say hello!
I wish I could make it, Richard, but I'm stuck here in rainy, not-so-Merrie Olde England. Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteWell, you know, it does also rain here...and I've seen the photos of how lovely it is out where you are. Meanwhile I'm stuck here in crime and accident and trash ridden New York City. Though it would be tremendous to see you at the convention, I'll follow your request and make a point of having a great time there anyway...so long as you promise to do that same that weekend!
DeleteBest of luck with your con experience.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Having done this with the Kirby Museum a few times now I have a pretty good idea what to expect. A lot of people dislike being stuck behind a table for most of a convention, but in many ways I prefer it. It's good to do a circuit of the show floor and see what else is happening, of course, but there's a great deal to recommend sitting in one place and letting the convention come to you!
